While 2020 may have been one hectic year, Darian Taylor didn’t stop moving forward. She started off the year by releasing a single called "In the Fire" which has been and still is spun on Iowa Public Radio . Virtual performances became the norm and she made appearances on The CW’s “Iowa Live” with songs from her second album "Just Begun".
Darian Taylor kicked off 2021 by performing live as the Guest of the Day on Channel 13's "Hello Iowa!". She also made an appearance at a local hot spot called "Gas Lamp" alongside many talented artists from the Des Moines Metro area. A major first was her performance at Wooly’s opening the show for Bonne Finken as it was her first time hitting this renowned Des Moines stage. Since her first headline, she has performed at the Levitt Amp Earlham Music Series, made multiple appearances at the 2021 Des Moines Arts Festival and was chosen to perform for the first time ever at the 2021 Iowa State Fair!
